What a GREAT show! The B-52's sounded better than ever. This is a band that you must see live! We were so lucky to see them at a venue so small like The Roxy. It felt like a party in our living room with great friends.

By Schoonerman from Atlanta, GA on 8/3/2007
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound
Cons:
Too Short
Best For:
Everyone

Great, great show! Played lots of favorites, plus six new songs off the upcoming album that were fantastic! Would have liked them to have played a little longer (one hour, 20 minutes), but the show was great. Sounded great and the crowd was rocking all night! Can't wait to see them the next timem they're are in town!

B-52s Concert Tickets

It's safe to say the B-52s have a style all their own. An icon of the late 1970s and 1980s, the band has some of the most unique hits of the last 30 years and still enjoys a loyal fan following today. And as anyone who has picked up B-52s tickets can attest, the rockers from Georgia still put on a great show.

The origins of the B-52s can be traced back to an impromptu performance given by friends Cindy Wilson, Ricky Wilson, Kate Pierson, Keith Strickland and Fred Schneider while they were out at a restaurant. The response was such that they felt the draw of music and never turned back. Inspired by the emergence of the American band, New Wave, the newly formed B-52s soon got to work on their debut album. The B-52s sound was influenced by the likes of Yoko Ono, New York Dolls, The Mamas and the Papas and the Talking Heads.

The B-52s released their self-titled debut in 1979 and it was a modest hit. Praised by critics, the record helped set the tone for the rest of the band's career and featured "Rock Lobster," which persists as one of their most iconic tracks. With their debut out of the way, the B-52s were poised to dominate the 80s.

Over the next decade, Wilson, Schneider and the rest churned out a string of hits including "Love Shack," "Deadbeat Club" and "Summer of Love," which helped solidify their place in the rock world. Don't miss your chance to see the B-52s LIVE! Buy your B-52s tickets now!
