The Villanova Wildcats have appeared in the Big Dance over two dozen times since it was founded in 1920. The basketball program has made it to the Final Four in 1939, 1971, 1985 and 2009, reaching the pinnacle in 1985 when they won it all with a 66-64 victory over the Georgetown Hoyas.
