Atlanta Braves Baseball Tickets

They have had stops in both Boston and Milwaukee, but today the Atlanta Braves have found a strong foothold in Georgia. Over the last 45-plus years, the franchise has welcomed some of the most legendary players ever to walk on the baseball diamond, and Atlanta Braves tickets are still as popular as they ever were.

The National League Eastern Division team has been around the block, so to speak. Established in 1871, the Bravos started their journey in Boston with a slew of team names between 1871 and 1952. After a 12-year stopover in Milwaukee, America's Team slid into Atlanta in 1966. Since then their home ballpark Turner Field has been selling Atlanta Braves tickets like peanuts and brew at a summer game.

Though the Braves franchise won two World Series in the early parts of the 20th century, it was the achievements of Hank Aaron that helped bring the team into the spotlight. The Hall of Famer captured the world's attention in 1974 when he broke the all-time home run record set by Babe Ruth. Though it was eventually surpassed by Barry Bonds more than 30 years later, it is still one of the most impressive feats in baseball.

A baseball first, the Braves are the only team to win the Series in three separate home cities. The team's hall of fame baseball players hail from all three of these locations. The Braves have numbers to their name: more than 15 divisional titles, 8 NL pennants and multiple World Series championships, to date.

The heyday of Braves baseball was undoubtedly the 1990s and into the early 2000s. There were few teams quite as consistent as Atlanta, which advanced to the World Series five times in the 90s behind players such as Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux and Chipper Jones. They brought the third title to the Braves in 1995.

Along with skill and showmanship the rivalries come pouring in. Depending on who you ask regarding the Braves' biggest rivalry, you'll probably get a different answer. Some will say it's the Philadelphia Phillies while others will state it's the New York Yankees … though everyone will agree that the New York Mets really get the Braves' goat.

Whether you call them the "Bravos," "America's Team" or just the plain old Braves, if you are looking to take in some MLB baseball, these are the boys for you. While the players may have changed over the years, the Braves still have a lasting legacy like few other teams. Fans peg a Braves game as a great sporting time for the whole family! Don't miss out on seeing old rivalries renewed and your favorite players battle it out!
