Braves vs Mets 09/21/08
By Mac from Raleigh NC on 9/23/2008
Pros:
Great Style Of Play, The Crowd Loved It

The game was great but I bought the tickets for my son 7th birthday. He loves the Braves most of all Chipper Jones. We got there early to watch the Braves take batting practice as was on there web site.We were made to wait 40 min.and not allowed near the field until they were finished and in the club house. The Mets took batting practice and we waited another 40 min.along the 1st.base line for the Braves to take infield. After this time we were told to go to our seats that the Braves would not be coming out to sign anything. Also as soon as we arrived at the field we were told because of a concert he could not run the bases.I gave him a Braves jersey with his name on it just for this occasion. We drove 6 hrs one way for this.We would have gone to a game anyway but on another time and gone to a Falcons game on Sunday if we knew this.

Atlanta Braves Tickets

The Atlanta Braves, a National League Eastern Division team, have been around the block, so to speak. Established in 1871, the Bravos started their journey in Boston with a slew of team names between 1871 and 1952. After a 12-year stop over in Milwaukee, America’s Team slid into Atlanta in 1966. Since then their home ballpark Turner Field has been selling Atlanta Braves tickets like peanuts and brew at a summer game.

A baseball first, the Braves are the only team to win the Series in three separate home cities. The team’s hall of fame baseball players hail from all three of these locations. The Braves have numbers to their name: more than 15 divisional titles, 8 NL pennants and multiple World Series championships, to date. In 1974 it was the Braves’ own Hank Aaron that broke Babe Ruth’s career home run record.

Along with skill and showmanship the rivalries come pouring in. Depending on who you ask regarding the Braves’ biggest rivalry, you’ll probably get a different answer. Some will say it’s the Philadelphia Phillies while others will state it’s the New York Yankees … though everyone will agree that the New York Mets really get the Braves’ goat.

Whether you call them the “Bravos,” “America’s Team” or just the plain old Braves, if you are looking to take in some solid MLB tournament baseball, these are the boys for you. Baseball season is always just around the corner, so make sure you are there to cheer the Atlanta Braves to victory. Reviews peg a Braves game as a great sporting time for the whole family! Don't miss out on seeing old rivalries renewed and your favorite players battle it out to reach the Series! Atlanta Braves baseball tickets are available now!
