AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tickets

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is a pro golf match on the PGA Tour held in Pebble Beach, California. The event is made up of 156 professional golfers and 156 amateurs. Past champions of the tournament include golf legends such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Payne Stewart and Vijay Singh. If you’re a fan of golf, don’t miss your chance to pick up your AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tickets.

The first tournament took place in 1937 as a way to play golf and raise money for charity. Bing Crosby had gotten some friends together to enjoy a game of golf, along with a tasty clambake. Crosby wanted to give Lakeside members and some other amateur golfers a chance to play against the pros. Taking the first place title in the 1937 tournament was Sam Snead, who won with a 68. Taking second place was George Von Elm, with a 72. Snead took the title again in 1938, bringing home $500 dollars as a cash prize. That pot has certainly grown a bit throughout the years, with the winning pro taking home $6,600,000.

Charity has always been a part of the tournament and is an aspect that is still going strong. Nonprofit organization Monterey Peninsula Foundation hosts the pro-am, raising more than $110 million for charity since the tournament’s inception. The goal of the charity is to improve the quality of life in Monterey County and surrounding areas.
