Army of Anyone Biography

By the time Army of Anyone started catching attention, it had already been about four years since any of the all-star cast of bandmembers had released an album with the bands that brought them to the forefront. Countering Velvet Revolver's immediate name-recognition appeal, Army of Anyone is comprised of Filter vocalist Richard Patrick, brothers and former Stone Temple Pilots bandmates Dean DeLeo and Robert DeLeo, and seasoned session/touring drummer Ray Luzier, who played with David Lee Roth from 1997-2005. The group's self-titled debut album, produced by Bob Ezrin (who produced Pink Floyd's The Wall and some of Alice Cooper's early hits), appeared in November 2006, preceded by its first single, Goodbye. The record was the first release through Firm Music, a division of the band's management company (The Firm) that, unlike a typical record deal, would allow for more band royalties as managers handled the release directly with distributers. ~ Megan Frye, Rovi
