Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Tickets

The Diamondbacks are the pride of Arizona sports, and with some of the league’s best players, it’s easy to understand why. The franchise has had a wild ride becoming the team it is today, but fans of the D-backs wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re looking to experience the fun and excitement of Chase Field for yourself, buy your Arizona Diamondbacks tickets today!

Arizona has had a rich history of baseball, hosting spring training at fields across the state since 1946. However, it wasn’t until 1995 that the citizens of Arizona were rewarded for their love of the sport with their own team, which began playing in the 1998 season. The Diamondbacks - named for a rattlesnake commonly found in the area - played their first game on March 31, 1998, against the Colorado Rockies.

The team won its first National League Western Championship in 1999, taking on the New York Mets for the National League pennant. The Diamondbacks lost, but after reaching the postseason in just its second year, the team proved it was a force to be reckoned with. Just two years later, in 2001, the young franchise again won the National League West Championship, going on to play the St. Louis Cardinals for the National League title. The Diamondbacks took down the Cardinals in just five games and went on to face the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. Again it only took five games to score a decisive victory, giving the D-backs their first World Series win in the franchise’s fourth season.

Since winning the World Series in 2001, the Diamondbacks have won the National League West Championship at least three more times, and the team is looking to duplicate its success this year with a run at the pennant.
