Love Anita Baker but was disappointed in the concert at MN State Fair. She arrived on atge 45 min. late with no explanation. Then she sang one song which was so loud I had to plug my ears and then she talked, and talked and then yelled to the stage staff. Wish she spent more time singing than talking and TURN DOWN THE SOUND. My ears are still ringing this morning. We finally left and could hear her at the main gate! She has a beautiful voice but the sound is so loud and bad it ruins the experience.

Music way too LOUD...was a Die HARD FAN, with the cost of tickets would not trust attending another one of Anita's concerts. Sound was unbearable, I put my fingers in my hears to get through the concert. Many people got up and left. The opening act (George Duke) was GREAT...at the Nokia Theater11/09/09

I love Anita Baker - her voice is better live than on her CDs. However, her show was horrible. She talked too much and the quality of the sound was not great. There was a point during the concert where at least 10 minutes passed where she allowed fans to come up and take photos with her. I did not pay [$] to see her take pictures. She did long monologues in between the 8 songs she sang in 2 hours. I love Anita but I will limit my enjoyment of her amazing voice to her CDs.

I like loud music, but I could not bear the horrible sound quality at the Diablo Jazz fest in Concord. My wife and I, along with alot of other people, got up and left. Several people were plugging there ears with their fingers and some then just jammed makeshift earplugs in. She was indeed passionate, but also talked to much. I would not walk accross the street to see here again. It really hurt my ears. HER SOUND MAN SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!
