By Lark1973 from Annandale, VA on 10/27/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Opening Acts
Best For:
Adults
We enjoyed being part of the American Freedom Foundation's efforts to help U.S. military members and their families. We were surprised that it took the sound engineers so long to adjust the voices-versus-instruments ratio to levels that allowed us to hear (and undersand) the voices above the accompaniment. During James Otto's set, the problem was especially noticeable. The situation improved during Trace Adkins' set, and the balance was pretty good for Alan Jackson -- although the overall sound was still too loud.
