... afford the ticket prices for Mr. Keillor's performance in Appleton, WI. I am a die-hard Prairie Home Companion fan, and it makes me so sad that these prices put it out of my reach. I saw Mr. Keillor many years ago in Madison, WI, and I could afford it then when I was only a student. Twenty or thirty years later, I understand your popularity has grown but so has your income. Is it really necessary to charge so much more now that it becomes prohibitive not only for me but undoubtedly for many more of your fans to see you live? After all, we're public radio listeners -- not your wealthiest demographic. You talk about the masses; please put your performances within their reach.

Fantastic show. If you are a fan of Prairie Home Companion, or just good old fashioned family entertainment, you can't beat this show.

I wish we had gotten to the venue earlier and that we had brought a warmer coat as the evening was quite chilly.
