Reviews Truly a Disappointment By Ali from Los Angeles on 5/17/2012 Cons: Amateurish, Bad Singing Amra-Faye Wright, John O'Hurley and Carol Woods were absolutely fantastic and almost compensated for how dreadful Christie Brinkley turned out to be. Wright's fabulous voice was almost able to cover up Brinkley's flat notes and lack of range, but not quite - her solos were tragic. The staging was uncomfortable to watch as the actors seemed constantly crowded on a small stretch of stage in front of the orchestra. The complete lack of scenary and costuming was really interesting and would have worked beautifully had it not been coupled with the feeling of being cramped and the lack luster performance in the lead roll of Roxy. As a result, it only contributed to a boring experience. Sorry, we were really looking forward to this...

We had good seats. The first half was very slow. Second half was a bit better. But overall the stage was small, there was no real scenery on stage and there could have been more dancing..less kicks/splits. Sorry but wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Last week we saw Chicago. It was the worse show I have ever seen. The stage was limited in space, Roxy Hart must have been coming down with the flu,she had difficulty singing,MaMa changed the notes on her songs. No costume changes. The young couple next to me never came back from intermission, wish I hadnt.

I think you could see over and over again.
