Sound was crystal clear, voices well balanced to music accompanists and used lighting creatively-artistically. Production crew were polite and knowledgable. Would attend a future concert should it become available. Ray

IT IS A MUST SEE SHOW. THEIR VOICES ARE ANGELIC AND MAIREAD IS THE MOST TALENTED FIDDLE PLAYER YOU WILL EVER SEE! (THE REST OF THE BAND TAKES TOP HONORS AS WELL!)
I HAVE SEEN CELTIC WOMAN TWICE THIS YEAR. ONCE IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND AGAIN IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA. I WILL ENJOY SEEING THEM AGAIN TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW IN SEPTEMBER AT THE POPEJOY HALL.

At the price of the tickets to get into the Sac show I expected a lot more than just some gals up pranc'n around on stage to can'ed music.
Heard a lot of complaints from others around me about the prices vs what they got from a show. Most said buy the DVD from the orginal show and don't waist your money.
then again having been at the film'n in ireland (such as you saw on PBS) and being in the industry I would have to say for a road production it was not bad for what they had to work with. Anyone thinking they were going to see the orginal PBS Video would be disapointed at the road show and leave thinking that they missed something.

By DK, now a Celtic Woman fan from Beatrice, NE on 3/10/2010 Pros: Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting Cons: Had to end Best For: Everyone Heard them October 13th, 2009 at Washington Pavilion (a great venue). They started with a stunning new version of "Dawn, the Sky, and the Sun" that just made chills run down your spine. Nice to hear some new songs from them as about a third was new material (2 hours long with over 20 songs). The new members (Alex and Lynn) showed that they were up to the task of being in Celtic Woman. Lynn did a great version of "Dulaman", and Alex did "You'll be In My Heart" from the Disney move Tarzan. All were wonderful together. "Isle of Hope" was the great theme song for the tour, with a haunting pipe solo and Chloe leading off as the others came in. And then there was Mairead, the "flying fiddler" who wowed everyone with her stunning violin work. We gave them five standing ovations, and the new song "O America" just brought the house down (great encore too). I have got to see them again soon!
