Don’t forget your tickets:
It may sound obvious, but things are bound to be hectic as you pile your excited fan(s) into your car. Make sure your tickets are with you before you start your trek to the arena.
Parking:
Check your venue’s website early to learn about the parking situation. Have a plan for where to park instead of figuring it out once you are there.
Venue Restrictions:
Check with your venue to see what you are allowed to bring to the show. Different venues will have different restrictions on cameras, seat cushions, etc.
Dress Accordingly:
Dress your children accordingly. Even though they may want to be in full Hannah Montana gear, it could be a long walk from your parking spot or long wait in line, and depending on what part of the country you are in, the temperature could be very cold.
Earplugs:
The concerts tend to be very loud from the cheers of fans. Earplugs may be a welcomed addition amidst the sound of thousands of screaming ‘tween girls.
Hungry? Souvenirs?
It is generally a good idea to have cash on hand for parking, concessions and merchandise while at the show. Concert t-shirts start at around $30 and programs are about $20.
Set Rules:
Set ground rules while on the way to the show. It will be extremely crowded in and around the arena, so make sure your children and/or their friends work on the buddy system. It might also be a good idea to set a meeting point once at the arena just in case you get separated. Pick a very recognizable spot with a landmark children will remember.

The Parents Lounge!
If you are not attending the show and want to stay near the arena, or if you do have a ticket but need a break from the energy in the stadium, most shows will have a parents lounge set up. Here you can check your email, read the paper, have a cup of coffee and socialize with other parents and chaperones at the concert. This area should be well marked if your venue does indeed have a parents lounge.
Hannah Montana Tour Bus
Some shows will feature Hannah Montana’s tour bus that will be available for fans to walk through before the show. If your venue will have the tour bus available, make sure you arrive early to ensure that your children get to walk through before the show starts. Also make sure that everyone is dressed very warmly since there will be a long line outside of the bus. Please check with your local venue to see if the Hannah Montana tour bus will be at your show.

Since it is a very good idea to arrive at the show early, you should know where you can go to wait for the doors to the arena to open so that you are not stuck in the cold. Who's who...
Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana is a Disney Channel original character that is played on TV and in concert by Miley Cyrus. The show debuted in March of 2006 and quickly became one of the Disney Channel’s top rated programs. The plot of the show follows the day to day life of Miley Stewart, who just happens to lead a double life as pop superstar Hannah Montana. Each episode of the hit show chronicles Miley’s struggles to keep her personal life separate from her life as an international star. In concert, Miley Cyrus sings the songs from the show and from the Hannah Montana albums as her TV character of the same name.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus, daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus, plays the characters of Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana on the hit Disney television show. Miley was born in Franklin, Tennessee and showed a passion for music from an early age. She was no stranger to the spotlight, growing up during the height of her father’s fame. Miley has starred in her own television show, appeared in movies and sold millions of records. She performs during the second half of the Hannah Montana concert as herself.
The Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers are one of the fastest rising pop groups in the country and is comprised of three brothers; Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas. They released their first major studio album entitled, It’s About Time, in 2005 and toured with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney and the Backstreet Boys in the same year. It was from the success of this album that The Jonas Brothers began their climb to fame. They released their second album, Jonas Brothers, on August 7th, 2007. Their attachment to the Hannah Montana fan group came after they appeared on an episode of the show on August 17th that was viewed by 10.7 million people. The Jonas Brothers are the opening act for Hannah Montana on many of the shows dates.
Aly & AJ
Aly & AJ is a teen pop duo made up by sisters Alyson “Aly” and Amanda “AJ” Michalka. The sisters first made a name for themselves when they opened for The Cheetah Girls in 2005 during their Christmas tour. The group’s first album, Into the Rush, went Platinum in May of this year and they also starred in their first movie, Super Sweet 16: The Movie, on MTV. Aly & AJ will open for Hannah Montana during select shows from middle to late January. |
